lol. Light Lager is gross? to me. I am a Yuengling traditional lager guy regardless of the added calories and stuff. You're an inspiration btw. I've been at Power 90 for a few weeks and am going to do the Ohio event in April as a reward for completing it. :)

yes quarter miles. I? about fractured my metatarsal by doing Too Much Too Soon (TMTS) when switching from running shoes. I would say go no more than a mile your first time.

Hopefully you've had some time to train in them by now... work your distance up slowly and try to get in a few trail 5k's/10k's/15k's in the meantime and you'll be set with 2 months to train. I started running in Vibram KSOs (their most popular & supposedly most versatile model) in July 2011, and it has made a world of difference in my performance. Not only can I run further, faster, but my feet don't get tired from everyday activities like they used to! Heed the start slow warning, because you will encounter some strange feelings of soreness if you push it too hard too early, but I'll never go back? to running shoes. Great post, Mustache Man! Yes, I've found that running barefoot is far easier on my legs. It's a little tough on your feet at first (particularly the soles), but overall my legs feel far better after running with bare? feet as compared to shoes.

If you're afraid of your knees hurting, then going barefoot is the way. Shoes keep your ankle stiff and cause you to land more on your heel which increases the impact on your knee. You don't actually need those toe shoes/barefoot to run properly, though. I'm sure it would take forever to relearn how to run, but it is possible to run properly in regular shoes. Just emulate? how you run barefoot and go from there is the only thing I can say. It's not something you can teach.
