Jobs had complete veto power over all designs, so while a genius like Jony Ive is very important, I doubt any of his designs weren't altered by Steve Jobs in the end, and it was more than likely most of the modern Apple products were the brainchild of Jobs. It's been mentioned by old friends of Jobs that he had the concept of the iPad? over 30 years prior to it's final realization.

Woz and Jobs were the origins of Apple, Woz mainly in the beginning with Jobs helping with design of mainly the Apple 2 outer casing and sales promotion. BUT after Jobs returned to Apple when it was about to go bankrupt, he got Bill Gates to invest $150 million and turn the company around selling Apple his NEXT OS which became? OS X. Then Apple started to make the greatest tech turnaround in history... Under Jobs guidance they came up with OS X, iOS, iMac, iPod, iTunes, iPad, iPhone etc.

you're an idiot. Woz was important in the beginning with the original Apple 1 and especially Apple 2. Then Apple DIED after they kicked Jobs out, actually he resigned and sold his stock losing money. Jobs then invented OS X originally known as the NEXT OS, he bought PIXAR when it was nothing and he came back to save Apple and hired and help manage and promote Apple into the most successful tech corporation on the planet. That was all POST Woz, he made Woz a billionaire.? Steve Jobs=modern Apple.

So let's say you have all the engineering genius of this world - please tell me what are you going to build? I tend to look at this thing the other way round - it was Jobs' ideas and passion that pushed great engineers like Woz to do their best and produce wonderful products like Macs, or better, invent the computer industry as we know it. In a way the engineers are mere executors of great? ideas visionaries have and it seems to me that Woz recognized that fact in this short interview.

Wozniak's the engineering genius behind the Apple 1 and 2 but Jobs was the guy who commercialized his product and turned apple into a 1.7 billion dollar company after they had built 3 computers. Wozniak himself stated that if Steve (jobs) weren't around, he'd? probably would've gifted his creations to HP where he was working or to a hobby shop

You don't really think of any of the engineers because they are all scouted by NASA and put in the hot seat to make NASA's plans come to light. I met Steve Jobs at my uncle's office I asked to go home threw? a toy at my uncle missed and landed on Steve job. Then I never saw Steve Jobs ever again or apologize later on, I was a 6 yrs old.
