A remote control robot WOULD be a cool idea but we don't quite have the tech for it just yet and if we did there are too many things that could? go wrong. If the robot was sculpted as the wolf rather than a skelaton covering the suit you'd most likely see all the mechanical parts, and removing loud machine noises in edit difficult at best. Perhaps your visions could come true in about a few years. But even then a machine can only do so much. Something that isn't there is easier to make fluid.

@JasonAlexVoorhees Yeah.you got a point there about the practical effects for the upclose view,gore stuff and cgi effects for doing all kinds of crazy stuff.But it awesome if todays filmmaker can push the limits of practical effects just like the old days.For? example like a avanced technology remote control robot covered with monters flesh that can do something amasing that no man-in-suits can't do but I know that technology is far alway from realilty though.

Also don't get me wrong, I love how detailed suits can be some look great and can be used highly effectively. But as I stated CGI has it's place and a great suit combined with great CGI makes for an amazing experience? neither 1 seperate could live up to. But sadly there is always a side effect. The best combination in my opinion has to be Underworld Rise of the Lycans great CGI and suits. Though I am still saying Van helsing has my favourite werewolf design and action scenes of all personally

CGI has it's place with Werewolves and creatures of such. Van Helsing for example, good design of a Werewolf sure cartoonish graphics, low budget film. But the Werewolf did things a man in a suit could not, jump high feets feel fluid in it's movements. A man in a suit is good for standing there looking intimidating cool? close ups and gore. But they need to seem Athletic jump high heights and fight like wild beasts. A suit can only do so much before it breaks or reachs it's limits.

I like? the man-in-suits and animtronic effects,its so life like,and real,better than that cartoony cgi bullshit that we get in nowdays. I wish someome can take inspirions from a legend like Stan Winstan to create awesome animtronic effect that would make the movies more believeable.

then again it's never shown any (or many) Lycan corpses, so my theory, is that even though they're strong, she was probabily the weakest Vampire Elder, and it would seem even Elders are vulnerable to an ambush. So if they got to her before she knew what was happening she would be screwed and she was. Metaphorically?

well it is guessed that Lucian is infact more powerful than Raze since Lucian is? a mid generation (half way between 1st and 2nd gen) Lycan, where as Raze is 2nd gen. So Lucian would be a sort of poor man's (or Lycan's) Elder. It's guessed a true Lyan elder (such as William) is way more poweful than a Vampire elder, possibly more powerful than all 3 combined possibly since it took alot of Vampires to take him down.

by the 4th film Awakening I have no idea who is winning. And I thought it was established in the 3rd film the Lycans are actually the good guys. I personally dislike the 4th one, great action sure but, totally ruined the mythology of the Underworld theme for me. But it's just my opinion?
