That's funny, before I even read the comments I thought to myself "I wonder if she has been training 'shame' a lot lately" :) This looks great, I am in love with freeshaping. The bow I didn't free shape, I captured it. But pretty much everything else I free shape. It is just so much fun, the connection? I feel with my dog while free shaping is unreal, we are truly communicating with each other! It's like "what will you do if I do...this? or THIS...?" :)

How would you, say.. teach the dog to jump without luring? My dog never jumps on? it's own unless I lure him a couple of times and clicking. Then he obviously tries that along with previously known tricks without signals :P

it worked! I taught him to take a bow using the luring method, but he seemed kind of? confused when i were not using the hand signal on the ground. Then, i watched your vid, using the free shaping method,it worked so much better. but I get stuck on the duration of his bow

The paw lift was happening as? we were working on "shame" where paw came up over muzzle. I think I reduced criteria after first final bow also. So shocked she got it so quick I think! But that was my thinking. Find if I free shape and build it up a few times before only r+ing final behaviour it creates a stronger behaviour longterm. Great questions.

I run into something a lot that I noticed in your vid. The "extra" paw lift that the dog was throwing in. I noticed that you would click for the head drop w/o the paw lift to click, which I am sure helped clear that up with the dog. Beautiful bow at :26, but then why did you click for lesser bows after that?? Not being critical, I am looking to learn. Beautiful dog! Nice job!
