Currently, the grind is not necessary and should be ended. It's cruel and barbaric. Their slaughter is too slow and painful, severing the spinal cord just leaves the poor animal paralyzed, unable to move as it slowly, painfully suffocates to death.. People who have broken their necks suffer the same fate if someone doesn't breath for them, the? heart will however continue to beat on it's own. I know what it's like to kill an animal and I do it as quickly as possible. End the grind!

It is horrific...that's the reality of eating flesh. I eat it, and? I think everyone who does should experience what it means to end a living being's life for it's flesh, if you insist on doing it. It's natural, but it IS brutal. Such is the circle of life and death. On the other hand, if an animal is endangered, then there is absolutely no need to eat it. The only other point is, it's possible whales are near human intelligence, but that's an entirely different debate.

Sharks can live for quite a while without being in water. Caught a sand shark once, left it on the dock for about twenty minutes while we decided if we would cook it (there are seasons for harvesting sharks in Louisiana, or at least back in that time), and the damn thing just moved, and fell back into the drink. That shark is very much? alive; at the end you can see it turn slightly, indicating it was about to swim off

If that was the case that's acceptable on or off the highway, right? Why can you refuse a search on the highway but not on a snowmobile on the lake? If he was in a public park or state park and the law in that area states "no firearms/alcohol et al", police are within law. Being they had probable cause, they were within rights/law to search his vehicle but if he was on a highway, he could refuse the search. The probable cause? for this incident was a matter of etiquette, not law. He drove past fisherman , by their measure, "too fast". What is right is not always legal. It's not the killing of meat animals that is bad, it is the way they raise them and how inhumane they are raising and killing them, but if you raise a grass fed cow in? a pasture they would have had a good life and a humane death would be fine. But there are health risks to us with the way meat animals are raised, killed and fed also, so it's not like it's just the animal lovers who should have a problem with this, but I choose to be concerned for the animals instead of my own health.
